I'm re-writing an "application" that was originally done in Access into an ASP .NET web application and want to use the SQL capabilities built into VS 2005. How would I go about taking the original tables from the Access DB and importing it into the new
SQL file without having to re-create the schema?

As per your post, you need to migrate a database from access to SQL server.
The following page will give you resources that will help you to migrate from access to sql server
using sql server with asp.net will give you lot of advantages when developing the applications. System.Data.SqlClient namespace contains all the specific classes that related to sql server. Linq is supported by Sqlserver only. for more details read the following

Thanks! It looks like this will do exactly what I need. I tried running it to convert my existing Access database, but it wasn't able to find the server. I don't know if it's relevant or not, but I'm not using an actual SQL server. I think the version
that I'm using is the one that's built into the VS 2005 Development Environment. Does that change anything? For the server name I entered the name of the machine that I'm using the VS product on.
