How to reduce the image weight using asp.net, without lose of image quality and image pixels. For example i have an image with the size of 4 MB (3024*2045), so how to reduce the image weight ie 4 MB to 1 MB without lose quality in the same pixels ie(3024
* 2045) using asp.net.

Compress it using micrsoft's picture manager. There will not be any visible quality difference but differs alot in size.

You can detect quality loss only visually. As a first thing find out maximal compression level you accept using some image processing program. If you know acceptable compression level then use it in your code. Of course - it still doesn't solve your problem
completely because you cannot decide for smaller images if they can be compressed or not or if they are already compressed. You can add some "smart stuff" in your code and decide by image dimensions and image size (just create some kind of a scalar value)
if image needs reducing.
