I have a web page that resides on a server that is on the same network as my Access database but it is on a different VLAN. I can run my page from the server and it works fine. I can map drives to the location of the database using a user id that has read/write
access to the directory. When I access from any other location, it will not display because it can not find the Access database. How do I handle this situation?

I think you are looking for HTTP-Based Cross-Platform Authentication via the Negotiate Protocol.
If yes then go through below link:

I do not think that is what I am looking for. Both servers are Windows (one XP, one Server 2003) on the same network, just different VLAN's.

I will try asking in a different way. The Access database I need to access is on a different part of our network that requires userid/password authentication. Can those credentials be imbedded in the connection string?
