In our ASP.NET application we are maintaining the application role in the Active directory. So we are using the integrated windows authentication to get the user name and based on user name we will be querying the security group from the active directory.
Because the application can be accessed from two different domain and these two different domain will have one way trust. It is working perfectly when it was deployed in the windows 2003 server.
But it is not working in the windows 2008 server it is throwing error, if we impersonate to the administrator account it is getting the security group.
So please let me know is this the right way to impersonate? Or else is there any alternatives are available.
If we have to impersonate, the administrator user name and password needs to configure in the web.config file, so it will lead the security issue.
Please let me know the proper fix for this issue.
