I have a ASP.NET Web site that I have created specifically to view report information. The datasource is a mySQL database. I developed and tested the whole thing at it worked brilliantly!!!
...and then came time to deploy!
The site is running on IIS 7 on a Windows 2008 server. The database is local on that server. After much digging and scratching initially I installed ReportViewer 2008 redistributable and then also the SP1 for the same...
I have now got to a point where the reportviewer appears OK (i.e. the buttons etc, etc). However when I open a report the viewer simply hangs on "Report is being generated".
My development machine is accessing the same database the same data and yet this problem persists.
Can someone please assist me with were to even start looking for the problem.

Did you make sure to setup an HTTP handler for ReportViewer in IIS7? Check out the following article and see if this helps you. I had this same problem after upgrading my server to 2008 R2
