I can connect to the ASPNETDB.MDF when I run the app and use the login components...but in Visual Studio 2005, I cannot open the database in the environment. I try to create a connection to modify the MDF database and it will not open. It says that I need
to use Microsoft SQL 2005 Server or greater...what's going on? I have MS SQL Server 2005 Developers Edition installed. Like I said, it connects when I run the app in Internet Explorer 8. I have no idea what's going on. VS 2005 says that it's using SQL EXPRESS
and I don't know why. How do I set up SQL Server 2005 to be used in Visual Studio 2005?
I can connect to an Access database in Visual Studio 2005, but I cannot connect to the MDF database. Weird.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your time,
