In my application i am using access database which is inside the application itself , rigt now
if i install that application(web) it goes to IIS right.
Now what i want to do is, deny the user to access or opening that database which is inside the application in IIS. (ie) directly users should not open the Database and should not modify any datas manually.

I put my database inside the app_data folder after that i created virtual directory for that even though its giving access to that database.
whether i want to give any security for that app_data folder

As I said in the article I linked to, the App_Data folder is configured automatically by ASP.NET to prevent people being able to browse to it and download any of its contents. But if you are that concerned about security, Access is not that database for

i did what ever you told in that link but still its no working , its giving permission to access the database manually by exploring the virtual directory i can edit or modify the data base .

Then you need to configure your application correctly within IIS. You need to disable browsing of the directory.

thank you for your kind replying,
i got it by putting the database inside the app_code now its not showing the database as well as users cannot use browse it,
but i doknow that whether its correct way of doing ..
if its wrong please reply me with your answer...
