I am curious how experienced ASP programmers would handle this little routine. I am going to create schedule records for recurring appointments. I will have a screen that captures the start date, end date and interval (weekly, monthly, etc) and a lot of
other info. When the entry is complete (onSubmit), I will look at this info and generate multiple schedule records. So if start is 1/1/10 and end is 12/31/10 and interval is montlhly, I will create 12 records in the table.
Is working with bound controls and a linq datasource practical in this case, or would you just collect the info into text boxes and handle the db manipulations manually?

Recurring some time become very complex, i had handled it once 2 years back, i would recommend you to use manual operation, in this case you would have much control on operations in your hand.

I have some suggestions:
1. Design your SQL database
2. Writing the sql procedure and sql trigger to the db manipulations
3. You could display that with Gridview or Repeater
