I've come here because I need to learn a few things, mostly creating web pages in asp.net/C# for a student job I just got at a university. I have Windows 7 Pro installed on my laptop, I have IIS7 installed and working fine for HTML and classic ASP pages,
but it won't execute an aspx page. I'm really lost on what I need to activate and I thought I had it all turned on in the application pool.
I'd appreciate any help on getting this working, and if anyone can suggest good websites to go to for learning .net 3.5 with C#

in the application pool
Does the application executing when you run from Visual Studio? If your answer is 'Yes', then change the application pool on IIS to ASP.NET 2.0 and give it a go. If you come across any exceptions, post it here with exception stack
