Hy all, a little disturbing subject title, so i will explain what i meant. Before that, know this: I'm not experienced with Ajax, i'v been developing in c++ for the last couple of months.
We have an destkop application, written in C++/Qt. My job is to explore/build a simple Gui version of our app for the iPhone.
object and parse the Xml data from our Application server that communicates with DB server.
Another team is working on the api for that to work, my job is just to find out wich framework would be the best (fastest) for the iphone gui version that supports ajax ofcourse, make the qui and parse the xml.
Because i'm new to this project i'm asking you for some advice
If i'm not wrong i think i don't need to use
Asp.net/Php/other server_side programming. Because, the Iphone gui is gonna be readOnly and pure html/css with ajax. So, should i (can i) still develop this in Visual Studio? And if so, what is the best iphone framework or addon for VS?
How much does it cost to host 1 application for the iphone on win server? Or do you know of a good 3rd party solution/framework?
thx in advanced
here's a little sketch what i meant:
