I am not sure if I posted on the right forum. My question is about visual studio
2010 asp.net or silverlight(when it comes to wcf 4.0 and wcf 4.0 restful) models
First of all I can see that vs 2010 will be using a silverlight wcf template
and ria data services template azure template etc. Are there any plans
for a silverlight wcf restful template or just a plain wcf restful template
It seems like some parts of the restful model(restful starter kit template-will not be used) other parts of the restful model wcf will be used. I would appreciate if the wcf
team would provide new wcf videos in the future they tend to be helpful. i WOULD GREATLY APPRECIATE ANY HELP ON THIS I AM ANXIOUS TO LEARN
ABOUT WCF, and the WCF RESTFUL models for visual studio 2010 PLease
GIVE ME any details I have seen this http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/netframework/cc896557.aspx

based on what you ask, I assume that you will be learning all the new stuffs that come out recently.
If you are using VS 2010, then you should consider using/learning:
- Silverlight 3 with RIA Services (see:
- ASP.NET 4 Framework (see
- Latest WCF 4
- ASP.NET MVC 2 Framework (Beta)
If you have finished the development, you can consider ASPHostCentral.com to host your site as this host has supported
Silverlight 3 with RIA Service and the latest
ASP.NET MVC 2 Framework.
Hope this helps....
