I am using a script to pull data from and oracle table and push it into active directory attribute fields. I have done one to one mapping for each field, and have ensured that the data types of the fields that I am pushing into from Oracle are appropriate
for the type of data that is being pushed. The script seems to be working just fine. The problem is, when I look at the field values in AD from an LDAP browser, the AD attribute fields look null. However, if I look at the few fields that are visible in
an AD tool, like Hyena, the values are populated. One example is this. I am pushing title from Oracle into the AD title attribute. I can see it in Hyena, but not in the LDAP browser (Jexplorer or Softerra). The intention is to then pull the attributes
out of AD into another application, but the application currently does not see the values because they are showing null in the LDAP browser. Does anyone know how I can make sure that these values appear? I am using the same service account to access both
Hyena and Jexplorer. I have full read/write access using the service account to the user and person object classes. Thanks for your help. Much appreciated.
