Hi, I have a genuine copy of Windows Vista Home Premium and I am trying to install IIS on it. I was told to go into Control Panel and click on turn windows features on/off. This should list a bunch of features including IIS.
Unfortunately, the list is blank, no matter how long I wait.
I have the Vista disc if I need to repair it or whatever, but how can I go about this? Can I just run a command line statement to install only this feature from the disc?
Also, if I repair the existing Vista installation, will I lose any files, etc?
Thanks in advance

You're logged in with administrator privileges right?
The list does take a very long time to populate.
If it still doesn't appear, I would go over to the Vista Forums because the problem is not specific to asp.net.

yeah, seems to be a fairly well known bug.
