In IE, Office seems to add a context menu item called "Export to Microsoft Excel" which appears when there is a table on the page.
However, we are maintaing user context in Session. This doesn't work out so hot when Excel's Web Query runs and no SessionID can be found.
Is there someway to either a) share the session id with Excel so it is passed to the server or b) tell IE not to enable the feature for our pages?

As far as part 'b', the following thread link below had the reverse of your problem; they wanted to enable that property because it was missing (which is actually what you need - get it to dissapear). It looks like that option is enabled/disabled via a
registry entry which is not good news for you. Editing the registry via the web will be a no no. Doesn;t look like there is any JS to shut that off unfortunantly.
