I was looking over a video that gave a quick overview of new features of MVC preview 2. In the comments section, the author of the video was responding to a question on how to perform validation in MVC. He mentioned that he used "Live Validation" for client
side and created filters for server-side validation.
Where should I add it in Visual Studio 2008 (in my project)?
How do I reference it?

tag of your aspx page. If you are making use of master pages then you can put the same script tag in between the "head" tag of the master page, in which case all the pages inheriting the master page will be able to reference them.

and then some specialized files having some page specific functions. So thats the common practice but if you have some specific need you can arrange the files according to your needs.
