Been reading this forum for a while now as I've been building my site and it's been invaluable
I've uploaded my site to godaddy and created the 2 databases
I've run into a problem and I just wanted to check my understanding of the connection strings needed.
In darkhorse's excellent step by step guide he shows the following...
<add name="classifiedsConnection" connectionString="Data Source=whsql-vxxxxxxxxxxsecureserver.net;
<add name="LocalSqlServer" connectionString="Data Source=whsql-xxxxxxxxxxxx.secureserver.net;
Am I correct in saying that I replace the word classifieds with my classified database name (e.g. myclassifieddatabaseConnection) and still leave the Connection text. Then I fill in the Data Source/Initial Catalog/User ID/Password as stated in the config
settings for my Classifieds database.
Then, I leave <remove name="LocalSqlServer"/>and <add name="LocalSqlServer" text as shown above but enter the config settings for my MEMBERS database.
Is that correct? Many Thanks for any help guys...

No, the name has nothing to do with the connectionstring itself. It is just used so that you can reference that particular string in your application code. You will need to set the Data Source/Initial Catalog/User ID/Password
