This is datta jadhav. My question is regarding intigration of FCK editor in ASP.Net. I have intigrated it correctly in ASP.Net but i am not able to restrict user to upload image files using FCK Editor less than specific size(e.g. less than 600KB).
Please anyone help me regarding this. Users are uploading huge size image files because of this limitation. I want to restrict this.

As far as I know, you need to reset the uploading file configuration.
You can try to set the max file length:
<httpRuntime maxRequestLength="8192" executionTimeout= "3600" />
By the way, you can ask this question in the FCKeditor forum.
I hope it is helpful to you.

hi Bober Song - MSFT,
Thanks for your reply. But setting this properties in web.config affects all my file uploads and i have been given facilities to upload games/videos in same folder. setting these properties also affects my game/video uploading. I dont want user to restrict
game/video file uploads to certain limit.
So please help me on this issue. I have managed it on server side by identifying img tag and then checking its size and make decision to delete it or not. But i want to do this at client side so please help me on this.
I have also one issue that is i m not able to use upload tab to upload an image file. when i click "send it to the Server" button then it hangs out and not uploads the image. So User have to use Image Info tab every time.

You can check the size of the image before storing the image to the server.
if (filUpload.PostedFile != null)
HttpPostedFile myFile = filUpload.PostedFile;
int nFileLen = myFile.ContentLength;
if (nFileLen > 600)
lblOutput.Text = "Tho file length oversteps the setting.";
About the FCK Editor problems, please ask for them in the FCK Editor forums.

That's the same for uploading file to server.
var oFCKeditor = new FCKeditor('FCKeditor1') ;
var value= oFCKeditor.Value;
