can't seem to find an example of code that i'm looking for and i never used active directory before
what i want to do is the following:
at the moment i use the logincontrol from .net togehter with active directory (ldap) authentication. everything works fine.
but when logged in i want to retrieve the name and lastname from the user that is logged in (not the username!). and i don't find any examples or tutorials that explain how to query in active directory
this is the path with the users: CN=Name LastName,OU=docenten,OU=personeel,OU=gebruikers,DC=iwtdomain,DC=ehb,DC=be
the attribute is called "name"
also i was wondering if maybe it is possible to just look for the container name (in this case CN=Name LastName) to find the user it's name instead of looking for a value from an attribute.
thanks in advance
