when i click the debug button in VWD 2008, i get an error that says it can't start the program and i get a blank window in IE. then, after i click "ok" and click debug again, it works fine. it seems to come from the delay in getting the development server
to compile the code and get it up and running the first time. i also end up with a blank IE window that i can only shut down through task manager, which is another pain. is there a setting somewhere that i can just make it wait longer before deciding to
stop the debug process? i just need to double whatever the current wait time is for that aspect of the program.

this does not solve the problem, as i am not posting to an IIS server, i am using the development server that ships with VWD 2008.
the error i am getting is:
Unable to start program
Element not found.

You can try to use Visual Studio debugger to attach to it and debug it. For more information, see How to: Attach to a Running Process (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/c6wf8e4z.aspx).
Since you are using IE 8, which has a new feature, might make Visual Studio debugger confuse to attach IE process. For more information, see
I look forward to receiving your test results.
