When i try to install VS2008 in Windows 7 RTM the following error appears.
I tried to export the contents of cab7 and the fails so i think that file got corrupted somehow which is strange since I have installed it 2 times in other computers with XP/Vista
Any solutions? I dont want to download VS again.
Maybe someone can upload the cab7 file for me?

If you right click on the file and look at the digital signatures tab does it say it's invalid or the tab is missing? Does the disk have any noticable scratches that may be causing a read error?

Yes it says that the certificate is invalid.
I dont have VS in a cd. I am using Daemon Tools to mount the iso image that i have downloaded from MSDAA.
I have installed other programs this way without problems.
i could try to burn the iso to a dvd but i doubt it will work.

I would contact your MSDN academic alliance instructor / professor / teacher and ask about getting a replacement. It wouldn't hurt to trying burning an ISO. Perhaps there is an issue with Daemon Tools on Windows 7.

Do you have the right version of Daemon Tools for Win 7? It took them a while to get a non-buggy version out, so I had to switch to CloneDrive to install VS 2010 rather than wait. Try it with that.

Yes i have the updated version of daemon tools.
I have redownloaded VS and now it installs correctly.
i don´t know how that file gets corrupted.
