Could it be the CreataDistributionList procedure has changed after RU2 upgrade for HMC 4.5?
I'm getting an error message trying to create the group using the old syntax.
The DL common name in form of <firstname.lastname@example.org> is not accepted anymore. The system wants the left part only (<name>).
<errorContext description=""email@example.com@customer.com" is not a valid SMTP address
Looks like it tries to add the primary SMTP domain name to the DL name received.
Any idea how to fix it (as we're user to have the DL/group names in the form MPS did it before)?

So please use name instead of firstname.lastname@example.org.

That's an obvious solution, but thanks
I just hoped there is a way to keep the naming conventions same for users and groups...

Using name instead of name@domain works, but is not logic. Microsoft should allow a list with email@example.com
If I have a firstname.lastname@example.org and email@example.com in the same organization, and if I can only have name instead of firstname.lastname@example.org is not an option. Creatign a group and then mailenable it doesn't give all the funcionalities in a DistributionList

I hope it'll be fixed in the next RU...

At the end I simply modified the procedure, so we can continue to use the names in form of name@domain.
