i am developing an application on Wince 5.0 and have a database called AssetMaster.sdf.
now what i want is to convert the .sdf file into txt file with first row as the name of the columns...
in txt file
can somebody help??

As far as I know, there is no direct way to do the job, we have to query the data and write to a txt file.

You can create, edit and view existing SQLCE version 3.1 or 3.5 databases on your PC and then export the tables to various formats including a CSV text file formatted as you describe.
Open the database with SDF Viewer, the program can scan an attached mobile device for the file if the database if necessary. Highlight the table you wish to export on the list of tables. Select Tools - Export Table - CSV. Accept the default separator as
a comma. The resulting file can then be opened with a spreadsheet program or text editor, change the file extension to text if required.
