In IIS 6 you could have multiple web sites setup with different host headers that were all hosted from the same folder on the server but had different default web pages.
Basically I could go to http://site1 and use default.aspx to load and hit
http://site2 but have login.aspx load even though the root folders were the same (c:\inetpub\wwwroot).
Is this possible in IIS 7? I can set the default pages but it will change them for all the web sites that are setup.

I'm not completely sure, but can't you just create different virutal directories (making sure it's defined as an application), pointing to the same folder, but with different names? Then you can just edit each virtual directory's properties and set the
default document accordingly.

You should ask this in the IIS forums. See www.iis.net, same login as here.

I'll give the virtual directories a shot. If that doesn't work I'll go to iis.net, thanks.

It turns out this can bet set in the applicationhost.config file (C:\windows\sytem32\inetsrv\config):
<add value="site2.htm" />
