I am currently stucked at this procedure:
Procedure W08-DWHE.68: To create a new Web site for AutoDiscover Redirection
Our current deployment follows the exact HMC 4.5 guidelines.
This is what I did, and please correct me if I am wrong:
EXCAS01 - (Default Website) - 10.0.2.12
EXCAS01 - (AutoDiscover) - 10.0.2.16
EXCAS01 - (AutoDiscoverRedirect) - 10.0.2.15
On the public DNS, I have port forwarding setup on the firewall (example):
webmail.fabrikam.com -> 126.96.36.199 -> Default Website (Port 443) # 10.0.2.15
autodiscover.fabrikam.com -> 188.8.131.52 -> AutoDiscover (Port 80, 443) # 10.0.2.16
autodiscoverredirect.fabrikam.com -> 184.108.40.206 -> AutoDiscoverRedirect (Port 80, 443) # 10.0.2.15
I added a new website (AutoDiscoverRedirect) and point it to a folder in C:\inetpub\wwwroot\AutoDiscoverRedirect. Also bind the http to 10.0.2.15
When I created the VirtualDirectory (aliased AutoDiscover), should I create a folder "AutoDiscover" as a subfolder of AutoDiscoverRedirect folder, or it doesnt matter? Right now I have AutoDiscover VirtualDirectory located as a subfolder of AutoDiscoverRedirect
located. I then went into the VirtualDirectory "AutoDiscover" and redirect it to
https://webmail.fabrikam.com (uncheck both boxes)
I created a new website (AutoDiscover) and point it to C:\inetpub\wwwroot\AutoDiscover, bind it to 10.0.2.16.
I am not sure whether the problem I am facing is due to a UCC SAN. Should I use 2 separate SSL certificates for the webmail and autodiscover sites? Or can it be done with 1 single cert with multiple SAN?
For some reason, I cant get Outlook to connect over the Internet. It gets to the authentication prompt and it never goes further (not a password issue).

webmail.fabrikam.com -> 220.127.116.11 -> Default Website (Port 443) # 10.0.2.12 (.15 was typo)
