There must be some posts on this already. Could someone point me please ?
My 2005 computer is slowing down in spite of my TLC and it must be replaced soon. Obviously I hope to copy my files over and have everything working soon.
What I've got at the moment is MS Visual Studio .NET Enterprise Architect 2003
MS .NET framework v1.1 plus Hot Fix KB 928 366
As part of my backup, I keep copies of the files which are found in :
C:\dox and sets\MyName\VS web cache\PRIVATE-2005
C:\dox and sets\MyName\Mydocuments\VS Projects
I use Regedit toexport HKEY_CURRENTUSER\Software\Microsoft\VisualStudio7\ProjectMRUList
I also save all the folders and files oviously associated with the projects.
Bearing in mind the relatively low levels of web sites that I deal with, basically information to other like minded colleagues plus some file libraries, do I need to update a lot ? What is MVC ? How can I find if I need it ?
I know this is a bit of a woolly question, but I'm trying to avoid getting in an unnecessary tangle. I have enough forced upon me.
