I want to access the PC outlook in of "windows mobile" from "mobile web form/ASP.Net"..
It is possible to access PC outlook from smart device application in visual studio by following code
public partial class Form1 : Form
private OutlookSession AppSession;
private AppointmentCollection AppAppts;
private ListViewItem lviAppt;
//Create an instance of the Pocket Outlook session
AppSession = new OutlookSession();
//Capture the AppointmentCollection into a variable
AppAppts = AppSession.Appointments.Items;
//We now iterate through the entire collection with a
//foreach, using an appointment object...
foreach (Appointment appt
//Create a ListViewItem object
lviAppt = new ListViewItem();
//Add the appointment date to the ListViewItem, and
//the time and subject to ListViewItem SubItems
lviAppt.Text = appt.Start.ToShortDateString();
//Add the ListViewItem to the ListView
//Don't forget to close the PocketOutlook session
in the above code "Initializecomponant()" creates the instance of pcoutlook application.
but this code isnt working in mobile web form application..
Is there any way to Access the PC out look fromour mobile web Application/ASP.Net
Thanks in Advance....

Yes, like you said, the code doesn't work in asp.net, because these class are for Windows Form, not web form.
Most web applications are server applications and thus run on servers which usually don't have client applications, such as Outlook, installed on them. But we can use workaround way to do it. For more information:

Thanks a lot for your concerns...
Thats what I was looking for and but didnt find sucess before....
but as right now my boss has settled to build the "smart device application" rather than Mobile Web form I am using the classes built for windows development.. but sooner or later i will have to use the work around u have suggested...
so i would be happy if u could give me some more specific links[ebooks/tutorial of outlooksynch in mobile web development] for the application I m developing..
Thanks u very much once again...
