I've been using this forum almost daily for awhile now but this is my first post. I'm by no means an experienced programmer but work has a bad habit of thinking I am :(
I'm currently working with VS2008 and running into an issue that has me completely confused.
I was asked to update a web based app that is used for part returns tracking. I copied the complete folder, setup a local IIS on my PC, and have it where i can access it via a web browser. I started working on the .vb for the required changes when i noticed
nothing seemed to affect the pages.
None of my breakpoints are being hit and it almost looks as if the aspx pages are using a different set of codebehind pages. Any thoughts?
I've searched and searched on the breakpoints topic and have tried every fix that I came across. I removed all of the temp files, pdb, .user, and the .net 2.0 temp files (sorry, this is based as a .net 2.0 project) but none of it seemed to make a difference.
I have two days now in messing with this and i'm still no closer then i was at the start.

double check if there are another page/class that has the same name of your page .
check the page directive inherits attribute and be sure that it is the same of the name of the class in code behind.
