Hi there, I've watched a video on youtube. The guy had items in his toolbox that I don't have. He had a tab called ASP.NET Futures - Dynamic Data and in there he had some controls: DynamicInsert, DynamicList, DynamicDetails etc...
I have Visual Web Developer 2008 Express, after looking around a little I figured that I needed to install 3.5 SP1. I installed it and I still can't find those controls in my toolbox, i tried choosing it from the list, not there.
I suppose this is a easy question.

"Asp.net Futures" refers to specific packages that are to e released in the future. They're have been very few futures packs (I think 2). Once the product in te futures pack hits release, the futures pack becomes obsolete. Perhaps he had a futures pack installed.
Dynamic data is part of 3.5sp1, but preview versions are available here:
As for the toolbox tab, you can easily add a tab and drag and drop a dll there to add components. Perhaps that's what he did, or possibly, his install of the futures pack / dynamic data preview put those components in that tab.

Well I guess I'll just have to wait then. Filtering data is just gonna be difficult. I'm trying to filter rows in a table. The filter control that i want to use must be able to hold a list of values that it will get from a column in another gridview.
Something like this:
all values in culumn X of GridView1 must be saved in a control A
The list of values in control A must be used to filter another table and create GridView2.
It seems pretty simple, but i've been struggling for weeks.
I'll appreciate your help
