I wrote one code on button click ---------
The problem is when i upload this file along with my database , it is showing 404 error.
I have whole writes .
tell me what is the error in my path.
the path i tried:
new folder as I created new folder on ftp and then i paste my database
plz give me the solution

NEVER, EVER create SQL queries like that! It's very dangerous.
A 404 error doesn't have anything to do with the database. However, I suggest that you put the database outside the web root (not inside httpdocs), to prevent people from downloading the mdb.

Then what is the roblem bcoz it is retriving records properly (select * from tablename")
but it is not allowing me to insert record in my table is their problem in my connection string if yes then how should i give the path. DataSource=?

In ftp//ftp.www.modelcamengineering.com/httpdocs/ you should create a folder called App_Data. You should put the database in this folder, and then change your connectionstring:
|DataDirectory| is pointing to the App_Data folder
But make sure you read the article I provided in my previous port. As Gunteman already pointed out, it is very insecure waht you're trying to do!

I put my database in app_data but still its not working.
I have ftp server where i put mdb file in httpdocs then in app_data.
The problem is I can retrieve data by using select query but when i tried to manipulate databse by insert ,update or delete then its not working. i don't understand what is the problem bcoz its working properly on offline but when i go online i.e. when i
used url www.modelcamengineering.com/default2.aspx then my registration form is opening but when i press submit button then its not allowing me to manipulate data also i have full rights.
plz help me.

"Its not working" is not really helpfull to pinpoint the problem, but from the context of your story, I think you can find the answer

I am done with it actually my web hosting service provider has set the permission and now the problem is solved
