What is Linq in Asp.Net 3.5??????

LINQ stands for Language-integrated Query. In short it allows you to use a SQL like syntax approach for querying various sources, such as collections (LINQ to Objects), Xml (LINQ to XML), SQL Server (LINQ To SQL)...etc.
As you can see there are various LINQ providers:
And you can even write your own.
