I am using a web setup project to deploy my ASP.NET MVC app to a production server.
The app includes a sqlexpress .mdf file for the AspNetSqlMembership provider database.
There are two problems:
1. all page links are broken except the default link in the router command in the global.asax file. That is, you can browse to the root of the app, but not to a routed link in a controller like:
2. the web setup project doesn't seem to know how to capture the mdf file in the app_data folder. So how do I deploy this .mdf file?
Thanks for your assistance.

Just to add one detail to this question:
in the broken links issue: these broken links do not appear in the VS 2008 development web server nor if I publish to my local IIS server, only in the web server where the web setup project publishes the app. Also, I have determined that the controller classes
are created correctly in the dll that is placed in the web applications bin folder. But it appears that something prevents these controllers from operating to redirect the client to the correct new link.

Ok, fixed number one with Phil Haack's walkthrough for setting up wildcard passthrough on IIS 6.0 (my server is 2003) found here:
still waiting for help on #2.
