Hi, I am obviously very new to asp.net development. I am starting a small business and want to develop applications myself instead of having to pay. But I need to know a few small things first:
1. I am developing website/applications locally on my pc with vs web exprs 2008 and sqlexprs2008. When it is time to upload these to my webserver, which I have setup with server 2008/iis7/sql2008xprs, do I have to do anything to the web applications once
they are transfered to the production server?
2. Do I need to enable remote management of sql2008xprs on my production server and connect the applications, while I develop them on the development machine, to the production sql server? If so do I need to do anything to the applications when I transfer
them to the production server? Also, if this is the best option how do I enable remote management of the sql server?
Thank you for your time!

Just transfer all the files to the production server that is enough. If you have created with sql server, create a similar database in the remote sql server and change the connection strings according to that.
If you have remote connection to the sql server it is useful. Even without remote connection you can still run in production server

Create a sql statement of the database and run this code in the server.
Or you could create a backup and and restore in the server.
there are may ways
one way: go to database explorer or server explorer , right cilck the database and select the Publish to Provider, you can follow the onscreen instructions
