Hi, I have SQL Server 2005 installed on my PC and wanted to simulate the deployment of my modified classified starter kit. I created the 2 databases required as well as modified my web.config accordingly. I deployed the website on my laptop and was able
to create and manage ads. Everything works well so far except when running a search. I cannot find any ads and I have no idea why. There are ads created and can be seen/modified by using the "My Ads" option. I have a "search criteria" panel on the search.aspx
page showing the search criterias used and all looks good. I have no idea why the deployed version of the website is having this bug.
Can anyone suggest how to go about debugging such an issue?

Do you have the URL to link to your web site?
And my guess would be that you didnt upload the settings file in App_Data so the site would of created a default leaving your ads to me moderated. Have you checked in the admin area to see if you can see the listings? Also use the Admin search feature to
show all listings and see if you can see the listing here.

I just resolved it. I had modified a stored procedure (GetAllAdsByQuery) in the past and did not update the
“classifieds-add.sql”, When I used the sql script to create the classifiedsdb database, I ended up using an older version of this stored procedure on the deployed version of the website.
Thanks for your help
