I have devloped a web service using WCF in .NET 3.5 I tried to deploy the service on Shared Hosting server which has IIS 6.0 I get this error when I try to open the service through URL.
IIS specified authentication schemes 'IntegratedWindowsAuthentication, Basic, Anonymous', but the binding only supports specification of exactly one authentication scheme. Valid authentication schemes are Digest, Negotiate, NTLM, Basic, or Anonymous.
Change the IIS settings so that only a single authentication scheme is used.
I googled it and found a reply to change the settings in IIS (untick the Windows Authentication option in the Directory Security Tab). But the issue is since this is an Shared Hosting Server I do not have access to IIS.
Any other method to do the settings in web.config and without disturbing the IIS Settings?.
I am stuck up with this issue since last few days.

Not sure if you solved your issue. We have seen this error many times from our customers. To resolve it, all you need to do is to ask your hoster to disabled the unneeded authentiation method.
Too bad you are hosted on IIS 6, if you are hosted on IIS 7, you can simply add a line into your web.config.
