I have 2 webservers.
One Windows 2003 standard server shows a ASP.NET TAB window in the window after clicking on properties for
the webapplication inside IIS Manager. This TAB has a dropdown list box that allows selecting .net framework 1.1 or 2.0
Th other server is Windows 2003 R2 64X bit server, when clicking on properties for a virutal directory/web app there is
no ASP.NET TAB window. This server has .net 1.1 and .net 2.0 running on it and apparently working properly.
Do I need to install something? How do I designate a website to use a particular framework version?

first of all if framework was installed before IIS, it needs to registered by running aspnet_regiis (located in %SYSTEM%/Microsoft.NEt/Framework/<version>).
But if it was setup correctly (FX after IIS) and in IIS aspnet is already listed on web service extensions (one step below from web sites), (for example "asp.net 2.0 prohibited") it just needs to enabled there to be usable in IIS.
By the way, you cannot run ASP.NET 1.1 in 64-bit server without changing IIS to work in 32-bit mode (see:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/894435) when you don't really benefit too well for the 64bit. ASP.NET 2.0 works fine (and 3.5 is basically 2.0 from runtime eprspective so there is no other selection than
1.1 and 2.0 ath the moment)

You dont need anything else more, you just got to configure each website (websites you require to run in different versions) in IIS select the website you want to change go to the properties and then to ASP.NET and change the version from the list.
apply changes and your website should work on the asp.net version you selected.
