I have been asked by my manager to look at Windows Workflow as an alternative to another workflow product that we currently use. Given that I have no experience of Windows Workflow this is proving to be a challange.
Anyway can anyone provide a link to a practical tutorial, surfing the web I find plenty of simply demos based around a console application but this is of little help. I need to look at how easy it would be to support a 'real' example.
Can I support a business process that involves various differenct kinds of business user in Windows Workflow? For example we have a process where a 'work item' moves to an activity stage where up to 10 roles (which are populated dynamically depending on
properties of the 'work item') can comment on the item and indicate if they are happy with what has been proposed. After the comments have been made the 'owner' of the 'work item' can process the comments and then reroute back for further comment. How would
you approach this in Windows Workflow?
