I am a student and I like ASP.NET. I have had some problems which I considoer overwhelmingly unacceptable and that I have spent days trying to figure out.... but once you learn it it's a good tool. I'm not trying to be arrogant but that is what I have experienced.
Anyway, if this forum, the forum for and by ASP.NET programmers is garbage, and only made good by the knowledge of the people on it what does that say about the language we are using? For example:
I could probably go on. I know whoever made this foum knows a lot more than me but... why is the mecha of ASP.NET so non-user friendly?

Its restricted to keep the design consistent. As for slow loads that could be how many hops its taking you to get here, or a lot of other things not really related to this site.
Having questions approved by a moderator was probably added to keep spammers and others from clogging the site with junk. And everytime I've posted a question its usually been approved in less than an hour.
I've been on quite a few forums for different things, not all programming related and don't see much difference in them, be they PhP, ASP, JSP.

today, the forum is really inconsistent in a very bad way .... I just tried over four times to post a new post here
before it finally and mysteriously went to a moderator.
http://forums.asp.net/1146.aspx does not even load today more that 50% of the time.
It's no wonder that
firstname.lastname@example.org is frustrated (point 1 ~~ "It takes a while to load ...").

It says nothing. Poor programs can be written with good languages. It happens all the time.

vice versa is also true.
