I have just installed Visual Studio 2003 in my new PC and when I click to create my first ASP.Net project... Visual Studio is not responding. I mean Visual Studio does not show any fail or error... simply, it appears like hold.
I have tried to create new Windows applications and Visual Studio have worked correctly. The problem is related with the ASP.Net projects.
Please, can you help with this issue?

It seems Visual Studio hangs when we try to create ASP.NET project.
Please try to install Microsoft® Visual Studio® .NET™ 2003 Service Pack 1 (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=69d2219f-ce82-46a5-8aec-072bd4bb955e&displaylang=en).
We also need to make sure the IIS, FrontPage Server Extensions are installed.
Does it have firewall on your machine? It can block connectivity.
If this doesn't help you, please try to reinstall it.
I look forward to receiving your test results.

Thanks a lot for your quick response. I installed the VS 2003 Service Pack 1 following your instructions (I have already IIS and FrontPage server extensions) but it did not work correctly. I reinstalled VS 2003 again but it did not work too.
In the end, I reinstalled Windows XP with IIS and FrontPage server extensions and later, installed VS2003 with the Service Pack 1. It worked correctly.Really, it was the quickest and I did not mind to reinstall the Operating System because it was a new computer.
