I am creating a news section for a website, in which admin can submit news onto the homepage. It is object oriented. I have a module called newsmanager, so that files / controls would not have to create an instance of newsmanager if they wanted to execute
one of its methods. I then have a news list in newsmanager, which contains a list of news items.
In a user control, I have an add panel, update panel and delete panel (basically forms contained within panels). These raise add, update and delete events respectively.
On clicking the Add button (which only appears once on the page) the Add News panel appears. There is an Update button and Delete button for each news item. Both of these bring up either the Update panel or the Delete panel.
I have been testing this website in Firefox 2, but decided to try it in IE7. It was running perfectly in FF but in IE, for some reason, on clicking Save in the Update form, the Delete form then appears. It seems to be random. I have not noticed this happening
in FF. I am thinking it is a postback problem with IE. Has anyone else had this problem, or does anyone have any idea how to solve it?

I just reprogrammed some code in the newsadmin user control. It used to set the add, update and delete panels to invisible in the page load event if not postback, now I just set them to invisible in the .aspx file (not the code behind) and so far (fingers
crossed) it has been fine..
