Anybody know of any good guides or books for creating content management systems, ideally VB.Net based? I want to be able to create a system with formatting options for the text and allows me to insert images, much like the interface used for writing a post
on this forum.
Appreciate any help you can give me

Icarus1_uk: You could take a look at the Wrox CMS chapter in
ASP.NET 2.0 Instant Results. The code is written in VB and available from the same wrox.com page. And from that page, you can buy just that 1 chapter for $4.99 (US) if that's all you want. The sample application is solid although maybe not something you'd
put into production as-is, but it would be a very good learning tool and basis for your own work.
Alternatively, if you want something a little more hardcore, you could look at
ASP.NET 2.0 Website Programming Problem Design Solution. It's a bigger sample site including ecommerce and a more versatle CMS. The book itself is written in C# however there is a
VB version of the code converted by a reader and available from wrox.com.
Both of the books have excellent reader and author support in the
ASP.NET forums at wrox.com.
