I am just wondering, if I created a web application in my local pc and the sql database is located App_Data folder, if I move the website to the real server, can I still put the database there? I notice most of the hosting company provide some database
space which is not located in App_Data.
Thanks a lot.

Thanks for your help.
I used a hosting company's sql database, I can connect it from my local pc to their server database which is very handy, I can tread the database like the ones in my local pc, if I use the sql database from App_Data, I don't think I can this kind of advantage,
am I right.
In general, what is the pros and cons using database in App_Data?

It's just a location within the file system of whatever machine the database sits on. You can put an mdf file wherever you like, more or less. So long as the Sql Server can see it.
