HI, We've recently deleted a domain that was hosted on our HMC 3.5 system. Now, users from the other hosted domains cannot send to that domain. (The domain was moved back inhouse by the customer, so the domain and users exist, just on a new external server)
The error we get is : "The e-mail account does not exist at the organization this message was sent to. Check the e-mail address, or contact the recipient directly to find out the correct address."
The error is generated from the back-end server. I've checked to Domains.dat to verify that the domain did in fact get removed. It no longer appears in Doamins.dat on the SQL server, or on the Front-End server. I've restarted the system attendant on the
back-end, but have not restarted any other services/servers. I'm not sure how to get the back-end to stop believing it is responsible for the domain.
Any ideas/help would be appreciated!

I would check and make sure all everything is cleaned for that domain, including recipient policies, any specific send connector and etc.

I've gone thru everything I can think of, it is not in receipient policies. I ran the Exchange BPA, and it found the doamin still entered in the receipient policy, so I had to go through ADSI edit to remove it. I've done that, rebuilt and updated my policies,
but the problem is still happening. I'm wondering if there is still some ghost entry that I will have to find through ADSI Edit, but I have no idea where to even begin looking.
