I build an MVC application and able to run it from VS Development Server (Press F5) (http://localhost:27051/).
But application is not working on localhost. (http://localhost/MVC1/)
I think the problem is due to the application name after localhost (/MVC1/)
Please suggest the workaround. I have no access to IIS, so I can't change IIS settings/mappings. Also as I may have to migrate it to different server so I do not know the application name in advance (I might have to move it to
MVC in subdirectory

When you say it's not working, what do you mean? Have you referenced the required dlls (System.Web.Mvc, System.Web.Routing)

You weren't really clear as to what's not working about it, but since it's working under the dev server, I'm guessing it's mapping related. You'll need access to IIS in order to correct it. You either need to seup a wildcard mapping for ASP.NET, or create
a new extension (ex. .mvc) and map it to ASP.NET.
