I have a page named Default.aspx, Also there is a button in the page,
here is the code in the Page_Load event:
after the page backs I can see the "DetailsView.aspx" page completely, but now the button dosent work.
it seems it dosent make any postback.
I dont know, but when I change :
Server.Execute ("DetailsView.aspx",writer );
line with this one
Now the button works and fires an event.

without the StringWriter attached asp.net takes care of the correct formating of the html-code.
and the label1 is allways empty. (Check the sourcecode of both ways)
with your Server.execute("DetailsView.aspx",writer) code you get the hole html from the second page and write it in your label1.
this leeds to nested <html> and <form> tags in your htlm-code. i think this is the reason for not fireing your button event.
