Does anyone know how to write to the File System Resource Manager (FSRM, not a part of the HMC system), to set quotas on folders?
I know this is slightly out of the scope of HMC, but we are adding it to our HMC system.

You have to develop MPS provider around FSRM API (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb972746(VS.85).aspx).

yea, but there does not seem to be any API that is accessable via Visual Studio. We have been searching how to add the references into the VS for days.

You must be kidding [;)]
FSRM doesn't have .NET wrapper API.
You have to be more specific about what are you looking for ;-)

Since there is no .net wrapper, its not clear how we can even tie into the API that exists, since none of the API that they mention is usable from visual studio.
The best I can come up with is that we can call the dirquota.exe command line interface to do most of what we want. The negative is that we are running on the Prov01 box, and we need to execute it on the AD boxes, and its not clear how to pull that off.
Any suggestions on how to do any FSRM calls would be a great help.
