Where do I look to try to fix my footer? It is appearing in the middle of page, to the right. Horizontally, its about the middle and vertically, it starts from the center and extends to the right of the page instead of appearing at the bottom as it should.
(I'm using the default style sheets Defaults.css from the book's chapter two which works correctly when viewed in browser) I pasted the very same files in my program. Some of my other files may not be exactly the same, but my template master and default pages
pretty much are. I'm not sure where I need to search for this problem.
UPDATE: I finally got the footer at the bottom centered, the way it should be by adding clear: both; in the style sheet under the #footer element.
But now, a chunk of the dark grey block of the right column's background, is protruding into my white background center block. I've tried all the different clear: both;, clear: right; clear: left; clear: inherit; under #rightcol but no luck.
Any advice on what to do about that?
ha! I keep helping myself.... [:D]
I fixed that by filling it up with some typing....
