Is there a good host for SQLExpress? I have failed to find one. Please help. Thanks.

SQLExpress is having lot of limitations in terms of amount of memory it can address and database size. It is recommended only for development purposes and hence you will rarely find SQLExpress on a production environment. However, you can use your SQL Express
database to upload to a full version of SQL Server without any issues by taking a backup of the database and restoring on the live db server of your host. I am personally using
DiscountASP and can hence recommend both to you.

DiscountASP is a good choice, and they are specialized in Windows shared hosting providing SQL 2005 and SQL 2008 hosting. On VPS or Dedicated server you could install SQLExpress without problem, but the hosting price will be higher than shared hosting, so
it depends on your needs.

I guess I'll be the 3rd person to recommend Discountasp.net in this case.
Like stated above you'll be hard pressed to find a credible host offering SQL express since it is only for production but Discountasp actually provides an attach .MDF tool so you can transfer your SQL express data to a live SQL database.
Hope that helps.

You can consider a shared host who provides SQL server 2005 or you can consider getting a dedicated server.

DiscountASP says:"However, you can use the SQL 2005 Attach tool in control panel to attach a SQL Express database to our SQL 2005 database."
Is attaching as said above exactly the same as uploading a copy of mdf to a DiscountASP server?
