i have created a website on the IIS serevr that is poininting to a NAS server (network directory) where i am keeping all the files on that folder.
my questin if i build website for 2.0 or 3.0 or even 3.5. where i should worry about the .NET Framework that should match my build. IIS or NAS?
look silly, just wanna make sure.

The computer running the IIS server will have to have the same or higher version of .net you used for devolpment. BTW the iis server will be set to .net version 2 if you are using 2 or higher. version 3.5 is the latest and is the best one to use.

I too had a same problem some time back, the machine on which the IIS is hosted must have the same .net framework version installe which you are targetting. To be on a safer side, go for .net 3.5 SP1 framework and all will hopefully be well as installing
.net 3.5 framework on the hosting machine makes sure that you don't miss features of 2.0, 3.0 framework.
