I have a server with visual studio 2003 installed.
I connect to the system remotely and its giving me some issues.
When I compile the project it throws no errors or exception its a clean build.
But once I try to debug the project it gives me a strange excetion SYSTem.IO.IOException
I can see that the temporary folders in the Microsoft.NEt folders C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v1.1.4322\Temporary ASP.NET Files\test3 are not being created.
any clues please.

Check that the asp.net account (Network services ) has a permission on the application folder (at least read and may be write also)

Well the network service has access to the folder checked that.
Sorry for the late reply but I had started to work on some other project on a priority basis.
