I have found many examples of using the Google Maps, but they all are done using latitude and longitude. Does anynone have an example I could use that would allow me to pass a regular street address (address, city, state, zip) and have the Google Maps API
do the rest? Thanks for the help.

It may not take an address right now, so you may have to make a call to a geocoding service to get the lat/long, and then send the call to Google Maps. You can try http://geocoder.us/ as a place to start for a geocoding service.

The link given does not solve my issue programmatically. That is, I need to be able to call a routine that resolves an address to a lat/long that then passes to the Google Maps API. I do not see how
http://geocoder.us/ gets me there . . .

1) Send address to geocoder.us
2) get back lat and long
3) send lat and long to Google maps
